One of the highlights of this route is undoubtedly the views. From both Winyards Nick and Higger Tor, you'll be treated to incredible panoramic vistas. The rolling hills, dramatic rock formations, and vast open skies create a truly awe-inspiring landscape. It's the perfect spot for photos and just appreciating the natural beauty of the area.

However, it's worth noting that the second half of the walk can be a little less inspiring than the first. Some sections are quite overgrown, and the scenery, while still pleasant, isn't quite as dramatic as the initial climb and the views from the peaks. It's not a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of.

A few handy tips for your trip:

• Early Bird Gets the Worm (and a Parking Spot): We arrived super early to beat the heat (a wise move!), but just a heads-up: the car park doesn't officially open until 9 am. So, plan your arrival accordingly.
• No Toilets: Be aware that there are no toilet facilities at the car park, so plan accordingly before you set off.
• Overgrown Sections: There are some sections of the path, particularly in the second half, that can be a bit overgrown, so long trousers might be a good idea, especially if it's been raining.
• Bring Water: It's always important to stay hydrated, especially on longer walks, so be sure to pack plenty of water.
• Ice Cream Van (Weather Permitting): If you're lucky and the weather is playing along, you might even find an ice cream van in the car park! The perfect way to end a lovely hike.
