Alfie and I had the BEST short budget break together, and I couldn't be prouder of us! We embarked on our first solo adventure as a duo, and it was everything I hoped for and more. Our chosen destination? The breathtaking Snowdonia National Park. Tucked away in this stunning landscape, just a short 20-minute drive from Snowdon itself, we found the perfect base for exploring some truly incredible trails.
Finding the right accommodation can make or break a trip, and this place was a winner. Not only was it spotlessly clean (a huge plus for me!), but it also offered optional food extras, which was super convenient. Our host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was the ideal setting for our first solo adventure, providing both comfort and convenience.
The location was absolutely perfect for exploring Snowdonia. We were within easy walking distance of some stunning trails, and just a short drive from even more. Each day brought new adventures, from challenging hikes with panoramic views to gentle strolls along picturesque valleys. We were truly spoiled for choice!
One thing to note about the location is that the access road goes through a small industrial estate. It might seem a little confusing at first, but don't let it put you off! Once you arrive, you'll find yourself in a peaceful and lovely setting. There is a large garden, but this is shared with the main house.
I was so excited to share this amazing find with my followers, and they absolutely loved it! So many people are looking for dog-friendly getaways in beautiful locations, and this place ticks all the boxes.
